Do I need a reservation to blend a product at the candle bar?

Reservations are not required but recommended if you are visiting Artifact on the weekend or if you have a group of more than 4 people. Please click here to book a reservation. Reservations can also be made by calling the store. Reservations will be held for 10 minutes. If you are more than 10 minutes late, the reserved seats will be made available for walk-in customers.

Tell me more about your clean burning candles

Our candles are made with hand-poured soy blend wax, cotton wicks, and premium fragrance oils, for a clean-burning candle with an average burn time of at least 60 hours. Our candles are free from heavy metals, parabens, or other contaminants.

What is the time commitment?

The time commitment from start to finish is 30-45 minutes but it takes 2 hours for the wax to cure. If you need or want to pick-up your candle the same day, your candle must be completed at least 2 hours before we close (meaning, you must start pouring 3 hours prior to close).

Can I bring in my own container or fragrance oils?

For safety reasons, we only permit candles to be poured in our certified containers with Artifact's premium fragrance oils.

Do you offer any flameless options?

We do! In addition to candles, we offer Reed Diffusers and Premium Fragrance Oil.

Can I bring outside food/drink?

Outside food and drink can only be brought in during private events.

What are the prices?

Pricing is dependent on the product, size and style of jar selected with options starting at $36, price of the product selected is inclusive of the entire cost of the experience. Our current "Pour Your Own" pricing is:

Reed Diffusers: $46
Candles: $36-$70

I am raising money for my organization. Will you donate a candle / gift card / sponsorship?

We do not typically donate candles or gift cards or provide sponsorships, but we would love to help support your cause with our unique fundraising programs. Please visit our Collaborations page to learn more about raising money for your group!

Can my jar be recycled?

Yes, you are welcome to bring back your jar (don't worry about the condition) and receive $2 off your next purchase. We will properly repurpose and recycle them.

Where can I park?

Parking options in Thornton Park include:
-Parking in the garage attached to our building (hourly parking rates apply/we do not validate parking).
-Parking along the adjacent streets in the neighborhood.
-Event parking that is generally available most weeknights (after 5:00 pm) and weekends behind various buildings along N. Summerlin Avenue.

Parking options in Winter Garden include:
-Multiple adjacent parking lots
-City of Winter Garden Garage located adjacent to Farmers Market

When can I pick up my candle?

Candles can be picked up during regular business hours. If you want to pick-up your candle on the same day you pour, please plan to visit the store at least three (3) hours before we close (candles take two (2) hours to cure before they are ready for pick-up). There is no rush to pick up your finished candle – we hold onto them for a month. After a month, they will be placed in the "Land of Misfit Candles" to find a new forever home.

I am visiting from out of town, can I bring my candles on the plane?

TSA guidelines provide that solid candles (non-gel) are permitted in checked and carry-on luggage however, the final decision rests with the TSA officer on whether an item is allowed through the checkpoint. Artifact is not responsible should TSA or an airline determine our candle(s) are not allowed through the checkpoint.

Can you ship candles?

Yes, we can ship candles at customer’s cost.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept credit card payment only and implement contactless payment options.

How does store pick up work for online ordering?

When you choose Next Business Day Store Pick Up, your candle will be ready at our store for you to pick up at the next business day after you place your order online. If you need the order the same day, please call our store.

Have modifications been made to store hours and procedures due to COVID-19?
